I've googled it extensively but I was wondering of there is sort of an american version oif the wigilia since so many of the recipes are not food we generally have around nor do I know how to prepare it. I make Pierogis all the time because my MIL taught me how but somwhere I was reading that instead of the beet soup or something Americans use potato soup. Do you know anything about the "Americanization" of the Wigilia.
